Why Give?

By giving to FPC of Paris, you are not only supporting the everyday ministry that our church provides, but you are ensuring that we are able to continue our community outreach work well into the future. You are supporting the various arts programs, plays and concerts, the addiction awareness and the AA groups we host. Your gift helps more than just keep the lights on, but directly helps the community of Paris itself.

Why give online?

  1. It makes pledged and committed giving easier. By setting up a recurring gift, your offering gets to the church on the date you want it to, whether you’re out of town, sick, or you forgot your check on the kitchen table.
  2. It’s convenient. You don’t have to be sitting in the church pew to give. You can send in your offering anytime, anywhere.
  3. It’s green. There is no envelope, checks, stamps, or driving to the bank involved when giving online.
  4. It helps the church plan well. The consistency of recurring gifts helps the session expenditures better and not just guess.
  5. It’s less work. From the counting to the recording, to the trips to the bank, traditional offerings create tasks that are not needed for online giving.

Be a part of making a change:

The church is not just a place for Sunday worship. First Presbyterian is one example of a church that is not afraid to step outside its door and be a part of the surrounding community. For us, this means not only investing in the local community but also partnering with institutions like AA and NA to advocate for an end to the addiction that sweeps small towns like Paris. It means partnering with arts nonprofits like “On the Move Art Studio” to provide art classes for children who may not have those opportunities in their schools. And it means being able to host a wide variety of local events, from community choir concerts to benefit recitals.

Donating to First Presbyterian means that you will have a hand impacting this community in a positive way.
